Morgan Buildings by Use Case
Identical modules can face different approval, logistics and operating requirements. Select the intended use before comparing quotations.
Building applications and the questions they raise
Remote accommodation may need repeatable room units, shared facilities and protected circulation. Compare camp layout, utility corridors, water supply, wastewater routing and phased expansion. Transport dimensions and crane access can determine whether volumetric modules or panelized systems are practical. Fire separation and egress require destination-specific review.
Classroom blocks require attention to acoustic separation, daylight, ventilation and inclusive access. The buyer should state occupancy, corridor width, room schedule and required service capacity. Ask suppliers for envelope assembly data and installation details; local authorities and design professionals decide whether the final proposal meets the applicable rules.
Clinical rooms bring extra interface questions around cleanable surfaces, fresh air, plumbing, electrical resilience and medical equipment loads. A modular shell quotation may exclude the fit-out or specialist systems. Define the boundary between factory work and site commissioning before offers are compared.
Office modules can be bought as temporary facilities or part of a longer-term development. This changes expectations for foundations, thermal performance, accessibility and permits. Request drawings that show junctions, glazing, air leakage strategy and MEP connections rather than relying on a generic brochure.
Prefabricated residences need site-specific structural and energy review, weatherproofing at module joints and a detailed finish schedule. Panel core choice has consequences for U-value, fire strategy, transport weight and cost. We coordinate supplier questions; the selected design team must validate compliance.
Wind speed, snow load, seismic basis and fire classification cannot be copied from one country to another. Share the destination and intended occupancy so the shortlisted suppliers can provide relevant design assumptions, test evidence and clear exclusions. Our procurement coordination does not certify a building or grant a permit.
